Norwich, 1959 saw the start of Anglia Shopfitting, the brain-child of two local men, Tony Cooper and Sid Bygrave. A woodworking/joinery shop was set up at Diamond Road, Norwich and the business is still based there to this day.
In the beginning a team of carpenters/joiners was assembled to manufacture windows, stairs etc., moving on to specialise in shopfitting and refurbishments for banks, bars, office receptions and restaurants.
It was realised that through the 60s and 70s a huge market was developing for replacement windows, doors etc., and so in 1980 Yeoman Windows was born.
A trading name of Anglia Shopfitting, Yeoman Windows & Conservatories have been installing high quality home improvement products to customers throughout East Anglia.
Over the past three decades Yeoman have established themselves as a brand that is known for being reliable and trustworthy, delivering home improvement installations and after sales service of the highest quality. Yeoman Windows is still very much a family affair being run today by Simon and Alan, the sons of Tony and Sid. Their vision is simple, they want every one of Yeomans' customers to be one hundred percent satisfied with the products, service and workmanship, after all when you're spending money on your home it's important that you get exactly what you want and the whole process from purchase to fitting is simple, straightforward and stress free.
We do very little advertising as most of our business comes from recommendation and add on work and we are very proud to have fitted windows and doors for the grandchildren of some of our very first customers.
